The Moment Transcendent
When your fingers explore the soft hair
Growing, like young grass, on the back of my neck,
Caressing it so unexpectedly,
So unaffectedly, so affectionately,
They let me know, just with their subtle touch,
Not only that you're there,
That you care for me,
But that I'm there, too, near to you,
And that "you" and "me" are us,
We an entity meant to turn the moment transcendent
Into an eternity remembering our loving presence.
