Glories, Blessings
Our extended mornings
In bed
Are love's glories
Our hearts set apart,
Blessings
That arrest our spirits,
Suspend our energies
Ecstatically,
Invite us away
From our wandering ways,
Separate our dawns
From the busy existence
Of our daylives —
The rest of the rest
Of what's left
For us to investigate,
Just the other side
Of whenever we arise.
